The Texas Rangers narrowly defeated the Boston Red Sox yesterday at Fenway Park with the Rangers coming out on top 4 to 2. It was a solid match that aficionados with Rangers tickets won’t soon forget.
Rangers pitcher C.J. Wilson (3.23 ERA) got the win, while Jon Lester (2.81 ERA) took the loss for the Red Sox. C.J. Wilson went 6.2 solid innings for the Rangers, allowed 3 hits, no home runs and one earned run with 5 walks and 10 strikeouts. Also pitching for the Rangers was Darren O’Day (1.42), and Frank Francisco (4.07).
